Spot in Venezia -
Veneto
An historical spot, once upon a time there was a skatepark but now it has been removed, so everyone went back to the ledges and banks around there. There are two main zones: one with stairs of various dimensions and marble ledges and another called "the pyramids" with flat of bricks and some big brick banks deployed like an amphitheater.
It's the island that stands between Venice and the sea and, differently from Venice, it has asphalt and cars. But not so much traffic, so you can skate almost everywhere as long as you don't get caught by the casual walker/shop owner that feels in need to hassle you. These people are totally random here, so it's nearly impossible to forecast how you session will last: even in the center of the town it could be hours or just a couple of minutes. The best places are the Casino, where long marble stair sets offer for long grinds and gaps, and the Blue Moon (as soon as you reach the island by boat, walk straight throught it on the "Gran Viale" and reach the other end) where a new building has a not-so-good flat, but an 11 stairs gap with a rail, some marble sits, a wallride and a seasight terrace with marble ledges and small gaps. You may also find interesting the curved marble sits that are on your right almost in the middle of the "Gran Viale".
The Zattere are the southern end of the city.
They are a broad and long walkway along the Lacoon with nice flat and 40cm marble curbs.
The place is beautiful, romantic and relaxing, so sometimes happens to be a bit overcrowded.

S.Basilio is the only place in the city where you can find a flat made of asphalt, though in many places it has cracks.
It's mainly a flatland spot or a place where to play the little-skate-architect with things found around, it even has a couple of stair sets in the nears (with about 6 to 8 stairs), 50cm ledges and a little bank.
(the quarter in the picture is no longer there. is no longer at all)

Five minutes of skateboarding from S.Basilio along the only asphalted way, you can reach a train depot where there are a couple of raw and steep red banks.
It's a nice place from no one has ever been kicked away.
