One of the best concrete skateparks in Europe, built in 2005 by Dreamland skateparks, now mantained by "Street sport Ass". Open daily from 11.30 am requires helmet and a daily fee. To reach the skatepark by bus (from town center or airport) take the bus number 25 to "Dozza" station. By car when you are in Bologna you have to exit the highway take the "tangenziale" (a smaller highway free of charge) and take the "7bis" exit. Bologna has over 40 km of arcades in the town center. If you push your skate under the arcades in any direction you can find stair sets, curbs and bumps. The flat is usually made by marble and is very good. You can skate them also in raining or snowing days. Some sections are sloped so you can do some "urban downhill". Don't stop too much in the same place in order to avoid problems with local inhabitants or with "strange" people walking around Bologna in the night.

Under a portico in Via marconi there are three big marble boxes completely smooth 2 mt long the corner is rounded but still grindable in both bs and fs. Unfortunately local skaters doesn't like skateboarders and you ll'be kicked out in few minutes. From the train station take via Amentola in direcion of piazza dei martiri, you'll find them on your left.
Corticella

Since some years ago it's the most active street spot in Bologna, it's a litle plaza rounded by two steps. Local skaters bring here all kind of ramps and obstacles. The spot change often because the security empty out it periodically. The squareis just in front of a primary school so, when the evening sessions ends, it's better stop skateing for few minutes. The most acrive period is in summer when schools are closed To get there take bus n° 27 direction corticella till the end of the line. The spot is near the orange buildings you'll se near the bus stop. Go get there by car exit to CastelMaggiore on the highway follow "castelmaggionre" signals. when the street make a 90 degrees curve, take Via byron on your left. At the end of the street you're arrived. Pleas, if you come here to skate respect the spot (no graffiti, no trash, no killed kids and please put back obstacles after usage). Much beer!
